Before the first session

You don’t need a perfect explanation.

Starting therapy can feel uncertain. The first conversation is a chance to see if the working relationship feels like a fit and to begin naming what brought you in.

What if I don’t know what to talk about?

You can begin with what feels most present, even if it is unclear. Finding the words can be part of the work.

What if I cry?

You do not need to manage your reaction for the room. There is space to pause.

How do goals work?

You and Tiffany can identify what matters together. Goals can become clearer over time.

Do I have to commit long term?

Length and frequency should be discussed directly based on your needs and current practice policies.

What about confidentiality?

Tiffany will explain confidentiality and its legal limits. Secure paperwork is completed through the client system.
